For almost 20 years, Joyce has reported the stories that have shaped this region. She has interviewed U.S. presidents and policy makers, entertainers and sports stars, and ordinary people who have found themselves in extraordinary circumstances: President Jimmy Carter, Secretaries of State James Baker and Madeline Albright, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, First Lady Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, sports great Michael Jordan, and hundreds of others.
In 1997, Joyce was awarded the Best News Anchor regional Emmy for her live reporting from London of Princess Diana's tragic death. She was also honored with a first place regional RTNDA award for a series of reports on the homeless, No Help, No Hope.
